Prvi modeli Toyote sa ovim pogonom po\u010deli su se prodavati 1997. godine, a do posljednjeg dana februara ove godine dostignuta je brojka od 3,03 miliona prodatih vozila.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prvi Toyotin hibridni automobil u prodaji bio je \u010duveni Coaster Hybrid EV,\u00a0 a tada je ovaj model nai\u0161ao na podsmijeh automobilske javnosti, koja je smatrala da ovakvi modeli nisu potrebni na tr\u017ei\u0161tu. Tada je mo\u017eda i ova pri\u010da imala i smisla, me\u0111utim, danas nikako nema osnove, jer smo svjedoci svakodnevnog rasta cijena goriva u svijetu. Novi modeli svake godine dolaze, a posljednji u ponudi su Lexus CT 200h i nedavno predstavljena MPV verzija Priusa, dok se uskoro o\u010dekuje i premijera Yarisa HSD. Do kraja 2012. godine najavljeno je 10 novih hibrida, odnosno \u0161est potpuno novih i \u010detiri redizajnirana.
