Platforma bi trebala ostati  ona sa Impreze, ali \u0107e biti zna\u010dajno  modificirana. Cijeli bi automobil, prema rije\u010dima predstavnika Subarua,  trebao biti malo du\u017ei od Toyote Yaris. Tako\u0111er, budu\u0107i  Subaru WRX i WRX STi pokretat \u0107e i manji boxer motor zapremine 1,6  litara opremljen turbopunja\u010dem i mehani\u010dkim kompresorom.
