Model je koncipiran tako da ima \u010detiri pogonska elektromotora u svakom to\u010dku plus \u010detverocilindarski benzinski motor. Takav hibridni paket bi ko\u0161tao oko milion ameri\u010dkih dolara na cesti te se nije vidjela ekonomska isplativost. Ipak da se sjetimo sudbine XJ220 koji takodjer umalo da nije ugledao svjetlost dana. Jaguar nije stigao na vrijeme prilagoditi svoj prastari 6.2 litarski V12 motor novim normama i standardima. Na\u0161av\u0161i se u \u0107orsokaku, u zadnji tren su se \u00a0&#8220;poslu\u017eili&#8221; agregatom od 3,5 litre sa biturbo usisom fabrike &#8220;Tom Walkinshaw&#8221; koja je i razvijala ovaj automobil.
