Svako pomjeranje ili mijenjanje oblika krilca I za red veli\u010dine jednog milimetra ima svoj uticaj na potro\u0161nju guma, goriva maksimalne brzine te se prave razne kalkulacije u zavisnosti \u0161ta se \u017eeli posti\u0107i. Da li je 1955.g.\u00a0 neko mogao praviti kalkulacije?? Dobro jeste\u00a0 postojao digitron, \u00a0mogao se izvu\u0107i korijen broja 282 bez po\u2019 muke ali su se ovakve dizajnerske smjelosti radile po osje\u0107aju naravno in\u017einjera koji su poznavali osnove aeronautike.\u00a0 Malcolm Sayer dizajner ovog automobila je bio Adrian Newey svog vremena ali samo sa \u0161estarom I lenjirom u ruci I mo\u017eda nekim ra\u010dunarom u glavi? Pedesete su zlatne godine godine za Jaguar. Moby Dick \u00a0je bio ubjedljivo najbr\u017ei na pravcu Mulsanne postizav\u0161i 378 Km\/h. Veliki Enzo Ferrari poznat i kao svojevrsni ters, iz ko zna kojih razloga izostavio je sa liste voza\u010da za 1962.godinu stanovitog Giovanija Volpija sina lokalnog bogata\u0161a. Izrevoltiran ovakvom odlukom bogata\u0161i\u0107 je otkupio jedan od GTO modela te uposlio njema\u010dkog in\u017einjera \u017eivopisnog imena Wunibald Kamm, \u00a0zahtijevaju\u0107i da se napravi br\u017ei auto od onoga sa kojim se utrkivao Enzo. I bio je br\u017ei, ali ne I pouzdaniji, nije uspio zavr\u0161iti utrku, karma je jo\u0161 jednom bila na strani Enza. Dizajn ? Kada bacite pogled na listu pobjednika pro\u0107i ce mnogo redova od godine 2009 kada je Peugeot te\u0161kom mukom uspio. Pogled \u0107e vam padati sve do 1978 kada pro\u010ditamo ime Renault Alpine. Pripremaju\u0107i se za ulazak u Formulu 1 Renault je sve svoje resurse prebacio na Le Mans. Napravili su dobar prototip no nisu uspjevali zavr\u0161iti utrke \u201876 I \u201977, redovito su se kvarile sve posade uvijek negdje oko zore. \u201978 su do\u0161li sa pro\u0161logodi\u0161njim bolidom 442 koji je bio u revidovanoj verziji dakle 442B te novim 443. Porsche je do\u0161ao sa ve\u010d pomenutim Moby Dickom I zauzeo prvih osam mjesta na startu. Ipak u 443 je bio najbr\u017ei auto na stazi kako je utrka odmicala ali su se pokvarila objema posadama, poga\u0111ate kada, u zoru. na stazi je ostao samo 442B sa poluotvorenim kokpitom koji se pregrijavao do iznemoglosti njegovih voza\u010da i svi su \u010dekali kad \u0107e i on nestati u oblaku dima. \u00a0No Renault je imao vrhunske voza\u010de te godine, naro\u010dito u vidu Didiera Pironija koji je kasnije pobje\u0111ivao za Ferrari u F1. Uspjeli su na kraju pobjediti sa pro\u0161logodi\u0161njim bolidom\u00a0 u jednoj od nadramati\u010dnijih utrka ikada na LeMansu. Pobje\u0111en je neprikosnoveni Porsche koji je godinama dominirao prije a i poslije \u201978. i svi su vidjeli da su i \u0160vabe sa\u010dinjeni od krvi i mesa. Oborena je prosje\u010dna brzina kruga utrke a Francuzi ispisali svoju automobilisti\u010dku historiju zlatnim slovima. Ne\u0161to zapadnije harao je ovaj model. Porsche 917 long tail. Tata svih longtail vozila. Motor je bio flat 12 cilindri\u010dni sa 600KS. A morao je biti s obzirom da je aerodinamika bila o\u010dajna. Prisjetimo se Jaguara I dizajniranja \u201c po osje\u0107aju\u201d tako nekako je I ovdje bio slu\u010daj. Ipak Porsche je imao jo\u0161 asova u rukavu, bio je ultra lagan. \u0160asija se sastojala od titanijumskih cjevastih nosa\u010da, ru\u010dica mjenja\u010da od plastike sve kako bi se u\u0161tedjelo na te\u017eini. Njegov potomak LC2 je bio stra\u0161na Lancia Beta sa Ferrarijevim V8 motorom. Kada je nastupio na Le Mansu, kvalifikovao se me\u0111u prvih \u0161est no \u010dak prije slijede\u0107eg dana ispali su iz utrke. Zanimljivo je da je do danas to jedini BMW sa sredi\u0161nje smje\u0161tenim motorom a i njega nije proizveo BMW ve\u0107 Lamborghini. Cestovnu verziju, jer su pravila nalagala tada da se u takmi\u010denju grupe 4 I 5 morao imati odre\u0111eni broj auta u slobodnoj prodaji. Britanski racing tim March vidio je u M jedinici potencijal za Le Mans te se bacio na posao oko modifikacija. No bili su opsjednuti izgleda samo repom automobila, produ\u017eimo ga za 20cm, bolje za 40. Sve ovo se desilo a da se ustvari nije ba\u0161 tako desilo. Audi se nije takmi\u010dio 2003 godine. To ipak ne mo\u017ee oduzeti \u010dast Bentleyevoj trogodi\u0161njoj kampanji u LeMansu, jer se ve\u0107 u njihovoj prvoj godini nastupa 2001 vidjelo da imaju ne\u0161to za pokazati I da nisu tu samo da bi pokazali da britanska auto industrija nije mrtva, iako ih je na LeMans doveo niko drugi do VW.<\/p>\n<p>Gotovo bez konkurencije prvo I drugo mjesto na podijumu bila je \u0161esta pobjeda Bentleya na Le Mansu s tim da su ranijih pet zabilje\u017eeni na samom za\u010detku ovog takmi\u010denja.
