Iako se radi samo o studiji, u SsangYongu ne  skrivaju \u017eelju da ovaj SUV uvedu u serijsku proizvodnju. KEV2 pokre\u0107e elektromotor snage 120 kilovata sa litionskim akumulatorima i  autonomijom od 180 kilometara. Najve\u0107a brzina koju razvija iznosi 150  kilometara na sat, a za punjenje akumulatora potrebno je osam sati.
